Something that I think is scapegoating is how Hitler was blaming the Jews for Germany's problems. He just wanted someone to blame and since he discriminates against Jews he decided to blame them. The Jews were and easy target for him. So even though it was the countries fault they lost world war one according to Hitler it was all the Jews fault. He claimed that it was all the Jews fault for forming strikes. He also blamed the Jews for the holocaust. It's not that he just blamed them for it either he tortured them and hurt them for something he knew they didn't due he did it just to amuse himself. He has issues he hated Jews when he was a Jew himself so by him blaming all Jews in a way he was blaming himself as well, but he did not accept his mother or being Jewish.
