Speak Journal #4

     Me and the rest of my English class are reading a navel "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson, its about a girl name Melinda Sordino. The book is about her problems in high school, how she is an outcast, how she makes-fun of her teachers, and what happends in high school. And her just like you and me, she "dis-likes" people that are good at stuff.

     Think about it, when someones good at something more then you are, you start to "dis-like" them.
We don't like them because we are VERY jealous being. For example, when someone has bigger and better shoes then you do, what do you do? You go off and get even better shoes.

     Do you think its fair? No, its not, its not fair that we hate someone 'cause they're better then you are on things.

    And honestly, people think "ONLY" children are like that with in all do respect, EVERYONE is like that i mean, people everyday look at what everyone else and say "I want that" or "dang, I wish I could afford that"

   Look at the picture above, its a beautiful wealthy women shewing away a poor women, now that is SAD!!
